Cartouche shaped formed of bloodstone panels mounted in gold cagework chased on the cover with scrolls and flower garlands held by seated putti, the side panels applied with vertical rocaille straps beneath a foliate friese, in later leather fitted case, marked on body and cover rim with later control mark in use from 1814 to 1893
