The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Inevitable marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
The sides and top with some dents.
Finials to the top lacking.
The sides formerly with handles.
Some losses to the mouldings, with some pieces present, for example to the top of the right column.
There is some wear and tarnishing to the ormolu which would benefit from a gentle clean.
Some minor chips and losses to the tortoiseshell veneer .
Both with evidence of woodworm, now inactive.
Cabinet A:
Two small repairs to the back edge of the top (one in the middle one at the left side).
Some cracks to the tortoiseshell veneer of the columns - minor subsequent loss to veneer at top of one column.
Residue of cleaning product to capitals of columns.
Cabinet B:
Small loss to veneer between first and second drawers on the right.
