The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. The brass castors are slightly bent and may need straightening. One castor is presently detached. Both are in good condition but might require some minor restoration. The grain in the rosewood is strengthened in some areas where there are restorations.
