The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
The green leather writing surface with some scratches and water stains. The gilt-tooling has also faded.
The handles appear to be original but have been re-attached with later screws.
There are some losses, lifting and cracking to the veneers in places.
The right drawer has been reinforced to the underside and has a 1 in. wide replacement to the back of the drawer running along the width.
There is a small loss to the roundel at the base of the right hand side end support.
Some tarnishing to the brass mounts and a slight build up of dust to the paw feet.
Otherwise structurally sound and ready to use.
