The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Typical minor flaking and wear to enamels, foxing to mirror plates and light surface scratching. The example etched with a masked gentleman with one yellow feathered scroll and top of neighboring scroll possibly broken and restuck. The top section has been broken and restuck and there is further restoration to the top scroll. The other mirror with an area of chipping to the upper left shoulder of the frame, approximately 2.5 cm. long. The mirror plate is cracked with some small losses to the edge.
