The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good condition and ready to place. With typical scattered small nicks and 'nibbles', primarily to edges. With some light surface wear consistent with use. Present well.

- The malachite border with natural inclusions and some repaired cracks. With some small nicks and 'nibbles' to slate. With some very minor restoration to the very top of the mosaic in the sky. The reverse with an adhesive label.

- The malachite with natural inclusions and some repaired cracks. With minor losses and some areas of restoration, primarily to the sky.
The Temple of Hercules: 8 in. diameter (framed)
- With some losses to the tesserae around the border. Some unevenness to the field on the left side of temple and along the bottom, presently stable, but separating. With some areas of infilled repair including to the columns on the temple. Some of the tesserae in the sky possibly replaced. With a slight build up of surface dirt. The frame with scattered nicks, marks and scratches and with an age split to the lower left. With some oxidation to the reverse.
