The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Both in generally good condition with some small kiln spots and bubbles in the making, the interiors with minor firing cracks in the making; each with restoration to the tip of its beak and very minor restoration to the black enamel at the back of its neck and tips of its tail feathers; one with a chip to its eye, its lower foot with some wear to the enamel at two claws; the other with a deep scratch to one shoulder.
