The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition. The marble with natural inclusions, scattered nicks and 'nibbles'. With slight variation in tone of the marble and the veining between both columns, but present well together. With scattered small losses and some areas of infilled repair. Each with a repaired break across the middle, with associated infilled repair now somewhat discolored, and with some subsequent small losses. With further small losses at the corners and extreme edges, and with some repairs and infill to the corners of the square bases. The ormolu with rubbing, tarnish and oxidation. With a buildup of surface dirt and polish in the crevices.
