The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each overall with some minor age and construction cracks. Later corner blocks to the underside. The central panels and cross-brace to tops later added and probably to add additional support to top. The carving with some scattered abrasions and losses and subsequent infill. One example lacking a few husks at the top of the proper left back leg. Redecorated, and now with some rubbing and chips. Replacements to feet. The alabaster-veneered tops apparently original with 'nibbling' to the edges and some scattered minor abrasions.
