The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Some light scratching and pitting. Wear to the gilding on high points.
Some natural imperfections in the hardstone and some junctions lines visible on the stems suggesting possible replacement of some section of lapis lazuli. Ons candlesticks with small hairline crack in one of the base panel; the other with seven small hairline cracks in lapis panel of the base, some chip at one corner of the panel.
The case with some light scuff marks to the leather; inner lining of the door slightly warped.
