The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Provisional condition report :
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use.
There are some minor visible construction cracks especially to the top of the feet.
There are some old traces of woodworms apparently now inactive.
Veneer : there are some traces of white cleaning product especially to brass inlaid decor throughout.
Leather : There are some minor stains and water marks
Mounts : there are rubbed and slightly tarnished.
Structurally secure.
