The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Marks legible.
The gilt surfaces generally bright and clean. The glass with light staining and marks. The cagework with some minor losses, some repairs and two replaced cast elements of foliage. The hinged cover is not completely flush to the body when closed. Seam to spout visible. Scratch marked '6883 / CB' to underside.
