The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use.
Some losses, lifting and repairs to the veneers throughout. The carving to the cornice is intact, the figured panels in the lower door s are flat.
The glass panes largely original.
The slide with later knobs.
The handles to the two short drawers in the base are original but have been repositioned.
There is a small shrinkage split on the right hand side to the top of the base.
As noted the plinth base is later, there are some chips and scuffing to plinth.
French polished, probably in the late 19th or early 20th century.
Structurally sound and ready to use.
