This work has not been examined outside its frame, which is attached with nails to a strainer and the side edges of the canvas. A few faint hairline cracks, one with an associated pinpoint loss, are to the lower right edge. A minute hairline crack is above the center left edge, a horizontal one is above the right lower edge and one is near the center right. A pinpoint accretion is below center in a figure's arm, and a pinpoint loss is below the center right edge. Under ultraviolet light, a small drip accretion fluoresces distinctly near the lower left corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
