The work is not framed. There are two negligible scratches around 4cm long on the lower half quadrant of the painting – the first under the purple outline of the baby and the second beneath the flesh-toned baby. There is also a minor abrasion in the lower right edge. When examined under UV light, no apparent retouching shown. Overall, it is in our opinion that the painting is in good condition.
