The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet
- the sheet with four horizontal flattened creases across the width of the sheet, mainly visible in a raking light (the majority of impressions were creased due to the small size of the original tube). The sheet has been flattened by a conservator, and so the creases are not obtrusive
- with some minor soft polishing marks across the sheet (visible in a raking light)
- a small clear moisture(?) droplet in the red at lower right
- some minor and unobtrusive surface dirt in the margins, mainly at lower left
- hinged at places along the sheet edges on the reverse
