The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- in a raking light, some fingerprints and fine lines can be seen in the orange (this is fairly common)
- there is some very minor pitting in the white (inherent to the production)
- on the reverse there is some scuffing to the black showing the orange underneath, and some imprint from bubble wrap visible in the black on the reverse
