This poster, which reproduces Lichtenstein's 1976 painting Still Life with Table Lamp, was produced for the Poetry Project's 1988 symposium Poetry of Everyday Life. Lichtenstein and the director of the Poetry Project, Ed Friedman, selected the image together, and Lichtenstein approved the proofs. The painting was also reproduced on other publicity materials for the symposium, including a brochure and a program.
