The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours very bright and fresh
- plate I, three very pale and unobtrusive circular stains at the centre left of the plate, two very tiny areas of soft and unobtrusive skinning in the margins, a very soft and unobtrusive crease at the upper left margin, four tiny circular areas of skinning on the reverse
- plate II, two short, soft and unobtrusive printer's creases in the margins, four tiny circular areas of skinning on the reverse
Otherwise as described and generally in very good condition.
