The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with wide margins, probably the full sheet, printed by Screened Images, with their blindstamp
- the colours very bright and fresh
- a tiny and unobtrusive pale stain at the lower margin
- very soft and unobtrusive creasing at the upper left corner
- with paper hinges at the upper sheet edge and one at the centre of the sheet on the reverse
