The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with very pale mount staining, mostly visible in raking light.
- a very faint line in places along the margins (due to the mount), two very minor rubbing marks at the lower left margin.
- three areas of skinningalong the left, right and upper sheet edges on the reverse (probably due to removal of hinges).
