The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. All collage elements adhere well to the underlying support. The sheet is hinged in the reverse corners to the underlying mount. The sheet is slightly discoloured. There is a horizontal fold in the centre across the entire width. There are some wrinkles in places, predominantly towards the corners the where the tracing paper is laid down. There is some discoloured glue residue on the verso visible on the recto in the lower right corner. The tracing paper is larger in size than the underlying paper on which it is laid down. There are artist's pinholes in the lower right and upper left corner. Some pinpoint spots of foxing visible.
