No. 1 of 10 copies of the deluxe edition with etchings printed on silk, in a lavish Art Deco binding by George Levitsky with erotic vignettes accomplished in precious materials. The total edition was 175 copies.

Two volumes, folio (327 x 245mm). 40 etchings after Sylvain Sauvage, including the title-pages, each present in three states : in text and partially colored in pochoir; printed on silk and colored; and in a separate suite at the end of the volumes with remarques (minor edge fraying to silk, the backing paper for one of the silk plates in vol. 2 with tear and wrinkled). Full crushed red morocco extra by George Levitsky, each front cover with central pictorial inlay of mother-of-pearl and hardstone in sunken panels framed with green morocco, covers and spine in Art Deco design stamped in gilt and black, tan morocco doublures (tan color a little darkened), stamp-signed by Levitsky on the upper turn-ins, both upper and lower silk flyleaves with pochoir repetitions of four different Sauvage illustrations, backed with marbled paper; half-morocco chemises, slipcases (sunning and rubbing to chemises, some wear to slipcases).
