PLUTARCHUS (c.45–c.120). Problemata. Translated by Joannes Petrus Lucensis. Edited by Joannes Calphurnius. [Venice]: Dominicus Siliprandus, [c.1477].

Only edition, one of only two works from Dominicus Siliprandus’ press. Following Aristotle’s genre of problemata, Plutarch discusses various aspects of life in antiquity in what are now often called his Roman and Greek questions. Mostly religious in nature, some of the questions address scientific fields, such as how time is measured and calendars created.
