    EINSTEIN, Albert (1879-1955). Photograph signed ("A. Einstein 55"), n.p., 1955.

    116 x 152mm, gelatin silver print copy photograph, back printed "Kodak Velox Paper" (signature slightly smudged).

    Philippe Halsman's portrait of Einstein, signed by the scientist. Given that Einstein passed away in April 1955, this was certainly one of the later photographs signed before his death.
