Evocative personal item of the great Norwegian painter. The sketches include figures in a street, a cathedral, a dog, etc. Accompanied by a registration certificate from the Munch Museet in Oslo, dated 1 April 1980.

12mo (142 x 105 mm). Original plain gray canvas with elastic closure (professionally rebacked, elastic original but worn). Custom clamshell box. Provenance: Trustees of Edvard Munch (indicated in Museum letter) – Christie's New York, 5 November 1982, lot 321.
