Petrus 1971
Pomerol, cru exceptionnel
In a damaged original wooden case. Scuffed capsules. Integrated US import labels. Slightly bin-soiled and damaged labels. Levels: one base of neck, five top-shoulder, four upper-shoulder, one mid/upper-shoulder and one mid-shoulder

Tasting note: During the Petrus vertical in 2019 one of my favorites. An expressive nose of black berries, pure beauty with so much life. On the taste all fruit and fine tannins. What an impressive strength and class. Wow this is great wine. Such a youthful appearance still, the purity is fine. Must already have been gorgeous when young as it still have that attractive character. Legendary!
Last tasted London January 2019. Edwin Vos
