Black Staccato

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is a strip frame affixed to the sides of the canvas, and the canvas undulates slightly. Minor surface scuffs and abrasions are scattered, most notably in the lower register of the canvas and in the black painted passages. A small loss is to the lower left corner of the canvas within the green painted passage. A few small scattered accretions are visible and a few small spots of pilling are visible to the canvas weave. There is a small and superficial hairline incision to the pink and purple painted passages below center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
