The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board. The sheet has shifted in tone, predominantly visible in the margin. Faint pencil marks and a few small spots of discoloration are visible within the margin and not affecting the image, more notably near the upper edge of the sheet. Three minute spots of discoloration are to the upper left quadrant. A pinpoint spot to the lower left quadrant and one linear spot to the lower right quadrant fluoresce under ultraviolet light and is presumably artist correction. A few scattered drip accretions are visible under ultraviolet light.
