拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The side edges of the panel are covered with tape. Wear and rubbing are to the edges and corners and very faint lifting is to the lower edge. A crease is to the upper right corner and the sheet undulates slightly in the unpainted passage above center. A small spot of skinning is to the unpainted passage. Mottling and very fine cracking with associated pinpoint losses are to heavier passages of black paint in the upper register. Faint hairline abrasions are visible occasionally. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
