The books are secured to the backing board with string and the upper right corners of the book are hinged to their respective title pages. Soft creasing is to the spines of the books. Vowel #54 is also hinged at the lower right corner to the title page, and some pinpoint accretions and spots of discoloration are visible infrequently. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
