The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The upper and lower horizontal edges are uneven and are laid to reinforcing strips on the reverse. The sheet undulates and there are small tears and wear in places, in keeping with the artist's working method. Subject to the above, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
