The cardboard elements and adhesive have shifted in tone. Small spots of skinning, tiny tears and creases are visible intermittently, presumably vestiges of the artist's working method. Tiny losses, rub marks and a few loosened nails are to the edges of the frame. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
