The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the mat backing and is undulating slightly, presumably due to the nature of the medium. There are pinpoint areas of loss and one instance of lifting in the brown paint. There are spots of paint present on the extreme turning edges of the sheet, consistent with the artist's working method. There are accretions in the upper left corner visible in raking light, not affecting the image.
