拍品的狀況可能存在極大差異，而由於其性質使然，拍品難以處於完美無瑕的狀態。拍品均以拍賣時的狀況出售。

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is slight undulation to the canvas to the upper right quadrant. There is minor rubbing in places along the extreme edges, with a few associated pinpoint paint losses. There are a few superficial hairline abrasions to the upper left corner, and one further abrasion to the upper right vertical edge. When examined under ultra-violet light, there is no indication of inpainting. Subject to the above, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
