Small spots of discoloration and several handling marks are intermittently to the frame. The sheet is hinged periodically along the edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. Creasing is visible intermittently, with a more notable crease to the lower right corner, all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. A small tear is to the left upper edge, one is to the upper left edge and one is to the center lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
