The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

(i) Not examined out of frame. There are artist’s pinholes to all four corners. The sheet undulates slightly throughout. There are a few spots of discolouration to the extreme vertical edges presumably due to historical hinging, as visible in the online illustration.
(ii) The work is structurally sound. There are wear and spots of oxidation in places throughout, presumably due to the nature of the found object and the artist’s intent.
It is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
