The canvas is strip lined and undulates slightly. Minor wear, hairline tension cracking and faint rubbing are to the edges and corner-tips. A few faint linear canvas creases are visible near the vertical edges and center lower edge. A few faint scuffs are to the lower register. Visible under close inspection, fine drying and hairline cracks are scattered. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are along the turning edges, and tiny drip accretions are occasional. A faint tideline is visible to the reverse and near the upper left corner.
