Fall Streak Hole

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme corners, with an associated pinpoint paint loss to the extreme left corners. There are a few hairline tension cracks to the extreme upper left corner and to the extreme vertical edges. There are a few media splashes and handling marks in places to the lower half, presumably in keeping with the artist's working methods. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
