The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are a few minor handling marks in places to the edges. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, most notably to the white border and light blue passages. There is some minor lifting to the collage element, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There are a few hairline cracks to the centre left. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
