The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are a few minor cracks in places to the lower right quadrant and to the grey passage to the centre. There is a pinpoint loss to the white impasto peak to the upper horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
