The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing in places to the extreme edges. There is a faint accretion to the upper right quadrant measuring approximately 1in. in length, as visible in the lot image. There are some faint drying cracks to the lower right extreme corner. When examined under ultraviolet light there are a few spots that fluoresce but not in a manner consistent with retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
