The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is a faint hairline accretion to the left green passage, only visible under strong raking light. There is a pinpoint loss to the impasto peak to the right green passage. There is a minor abrasion to the extreme lower left vertical edge. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in good condition.
