The work is structurally sound. There is some rubbing to the extreme edges with a few associated pinpoint paint losses in places most notably to the lower horizontal edge and upper left and lower right corners, the largest measuring approximately. 1in. in length. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, most notably to the light yellow passage. There are a few scattered media splashes to the dark blue passage to the upper half, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
