The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme lower right corner. There are a few minor drying cracks in places to the black passage to the left vertical edge. There is a minor paint loss to the extreme lower left horizontal edge and upper right corner. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
