The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme upper right corner. There are a few drying cracks in places, most notably to the upper horizontal edge. There are a few hairline cracks in places most notably corresponding with the stretcher bars on the reverse. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
