The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and lower right corner-tip. The edges of the sheet are slightly deckled, with associated wear, and the sheet has shifted slightly in tone. A small tear is to the upper left corner-tip and two others are near the lower right corner-tip. Minor creasing is occasional to the edges of the sheet. Abrasions are occasional to the sheet, most notably to the black painted passages. Tiny losses are occasional, most notably to the black and red painted passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
