The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged to the backing board periodically along the upper edge and undulates slightly. Handling marks, soft creasing and minor bumping are intermittently to the corner tips and extreme edges. A few soft creases, some with associated hairline cracks, are to the orange painted passage in the lower register. Visible under raking light and close inspection, a few faint surface scuffs are occasional, and one with a tiny associated loss is to the lower right quadrant. A pinpoint spot of foxing is to the white passage in the lower left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
