Small but stable areas of lifting to the lacquer layer are scattered to the edges; a small loss to the lacquer layer is to the upper right corner tip and a larger loss to the lacquer layer is to the lower right corner with a hairline crack. Soft surface scuffs and spots of soiling are occasionally with pinpoint accretions scattered. Two associated cracks are to the central dent, likely in keeping with the artist's working method, and another hairline incision is to the lower left in a grey painted passage.
