The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined outside of its frame. Visible upon close inspection, faint pinpoint spots of soiling are infrequently to the upper register in a white painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
